Technology Executive to Present at Data Center World
Conference College Park, MD - February 16, 2004 - Octave Technology, Inc., a leader in industrial and facilities-focused uses of RFID and other Auto-ID technology, today announced that Richard Stack has been selected as a Session Leader at the 2004 Data Center World in Las Vegas, NV. Mr. Stack will lead an educational session titled, "Auto-ID in the Data Center: Improving Asset Management". Data Center World 2004 is being held April 5-8 at the Rio Hotel & Casino and is hosted by AFCOM, the world’s premier association for data center and facilities managers (www.afcom.com). Mr. Stack, a recognized expert in the use of innovative technologies to solve core business processes, will focus on how data center and facilities managers can improve equipment maintenance and management procedures. Mr. Stack’s presentation will provide examples of existing and future applications, outline the features and benefits of a selected sample of technologies, and outline implementation methods for those desiring to bring Auto-ID into their facility or data center. Many of the world’s leading organizations are leveraging different technologies to streamline asset management and maintenance, facility and site security, and inventory tracking. Mr. Stack will also discuss key market trends, including the impact of RFID, and the advances in communications (Bluetooth, 802.11) that will enable and connect enterprise wide implementations of these technologies and their applications.
