Robert D'Antonio, Ph.D. joins the Octave Technology Executive Management

Ellicott City, MD - January 29, 2007 - Octave Technology, Inc. announced today that Robert D’Antonio will join the company’s management team as Executive Vice President. Dr. D’Antonio will be responsible for development of Octave's strategy for entering the government markets, further expanding Octave's channel sales strategy and assisting in the raising of capital. Dr. D'Antonio will also assist in overall development of corporate strategy, partnership structuring and tactical operations.

 Dr. D’Antonio has over 25 years of experience in business development and consulting with an executive management history in numerous industries including power generation, healthcare and communications.

Prior to joining Octave, Dr. D’Antonio has been the CEO of Circadian Management Corporation, a knowledge management professional services firm. During that same time he founded the first Independent Practice Association (IPA) in the state of Maryland where he served as President for over three years, launched a private MRI center where he directed all operations, and managed a Medicaid MCO as Vice President.

Dr. D’Antonio holds a Ph.D. in Tropical Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in Zoology from Ohio Wesleyan University.
