Octave joins NeoTech Incubator as an Affiliate Company

Ellicott City, MD - January 30, 2006 —The NeoTech Incubator, part of the Center for Business and Technology Development at the Howard County Economic Development Authority, is celebrating the arrival of another company to it’s award-winning program.  Octave Technology, Inc., an Auto-ID software company, has recently joined the Affiliate Program. 

“As a three year old company, we didn’t require the same assistance as a standard start-up” said Rick Morani, Founder and President of Octave.  “The Affiliate Program allows us to take advantage of the programs at the NeoTech Incubator that help us grow our business and find capital investment and technology partners.  We are very excited to be a part of the growing technology community at the NeoTech Incubator.”

The Affiliate Program offers Howard County business owners the opportunity to utilize the NeoTech incubator’s business services, support and resources, without being a resident of the incubator.  Four levels of support are available to entrepreneurs, with services ranging from the use of meeting space and office equipment, to participation in a proven business management program that can take a company to the next level.  Currently, there are 6 Affiliate Companies at the NeoTech Incubator in addition to the 18 companies who reside as the incubator.
